Support Groups

The MCA’s support groups provide opportunities for members and donors to become more involved with the museum and the contemporary art scene. These groups connect the MCA community through special events and other unique opportunities.

Women’s Board

Since the MCA's founding in 1967, the members of the Women's Board have collaborated with each other and with the museum to create dynamic programs and projects that have helped establish the MCA as an important and vibrant cultural institution. These programs have included: a lecture and film series, an art travel program (both foreign and domestic), the docent program, the community affiliate program, the MCA Store, an MCA restaurant, the opening night celebration of EXPO CHICAGO (Vernissage), Family Days, and, most recently, artsmart.

The ultimate in MCA membership categories, the Director’s Vision Council (DVC) offers our generous donors unprecedented access to premier contemporary artists, curators, and cultural thinkers. Members receive exclusive invitations to an annual DVC Think Tank hosted by Pritzker Director Madeleine Grynsztejn, international travel opportunities, and an intimate contemporary art discussion group led by the MCA curatorial team.
