I Was Raised on the Internet features critical essays and provocations inspired by the MCA's exhibition that contribute to the knowledge of art and technology studies. The book also includes images of newly commissioned works in the exhibition.

Esteemed authors and creative practitioners—including Jeremy Bailey, Zach Blas, James Bridle, Michael Connor, Aria Dean, Simon Denny, DIS, Orit Gat, Cadence Kinsey, Olia Lialina, Joanne McNeil, Trevor Paglen, Heather Phillipson, Monira Al Qadiri, Jared Quinton, Martine Syms, Jon Thomson and Alison Craighead, and Nina Wexelblatt—use the book as a jumping-off point to broaden the critical debate on art that engages with continually evolving digital technologies.
