Giuseppe Gabellone

About

Italian artist Giuseppe Gabellone laboriously constructs sculptures—some sleek and minimal, others biomorphic and earthy—frequently destroying them soon after he takes a photograph. This exhibition includes a large resin sculpture and several photographs, all concentrating on ideas of presence and absence.

The exhibition is organized by MCA Manilow Senior Curator Francesco Bonami and Curatorial Assistant Julie Rodrigues.
