About

What makes this art? Why does it matter?

Have you ever asked these questions about contemporary art? Are you interested in learning more? After the success of last summer's inaugural lecture series, the Women's Board of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago invites you to mark your calendar for two more talks that will engage and equip you with strategies for understanding and appreciating contemporary art.

Faye Gleisser, Assistant Professor of Art History at Indiana University and former MCA Marjorie Susman Curatorial Fellow, returns to lead these exciting discussions around the question, What is contemporary art?

The program is held in the Edlis Neeson Theater.
