Teacher Exchange

About

Celebrate your teaching practice. Join the conversation about the impact of contemporary art on teaching and learning.

  • Hear from educators who have used the MCA this year as their classroom, laboratory, forum, and social space to push their teaching practice. Take home exciting curriculum ideas inspired by the work of participants in the MCA's Teacher Institute, Multiple Visit Program, and Partner School Initiative.
  • Learn about the museum's new website devoted to teacher resources, developed by MCA Teacher Institute participants. Share your feedback to help us make it a dynamic resource across grade levels and subject areas.
  • Participate in interactive, artist-led gallery experiences while viewing S, M, L, XL, the latest MCA exhibition featuring four sculptural works that offer diverse ways of relating to the size, scale, and scope of the world around us.
  • Network with fellow teachers who use contemporary art to foster inquiry, experimentation, and community within their classrooms and schools.
  • Celebrate the end of the school year with a festive, communal lunch.

This program is free, but registration is required. Attendees receive CPDUs. Vouchers for free parking in the MCA garage are provided, pending availability. Public transportation is recommended.
