About

Meet new people, talk about art, make art, and have fun at a workshop led by Chicago artists and hosted by the MCA's Teen Creative Agency.

Interdisciplinary artist Avery R. Young leads this workshop exploring the history of Black American music through poetry, spoken word, and vocal percussion. Inspired by BMO Harris Bank Chicago Works: Faheem Majeed.

This is one of three workshops for high school students offered by the MCA during CPS Spring Break 2015. Sign up to attend one or request to attend them all. Space is limited and registration is required.
