Discover something new in the western suburbs today. Led by curator Theresa Parker, we begin with a tour of Benedictine University's vast art collection, where hundreds of art works can be viewed. Theresa, who is also an artist, has exhibited her work in numerous national and international competitions. She has been a curator for several institutions in the Chicago area, including Loyola University's Crown Center Gallery and Elmhurst Art Museum. She is currently teaching art and art history at College of DuPage and Benedictine University. Later, at the Morton Arboretum, we'll take the Acorn Express, an outdoor tram ride, for a docent-led tour through nature and view the first-ever comprehensive display of the Steelroots sculpture series by artist Steve Tobin.
