The MCA offers a range of free and wildly interesting events in the cafe almost every Tuesday evening from October through April. Museum admission is free to everyone on Tuesdays so come early and visit the galleries and then stick around for constructive entertainment accompanied by a glass of wine or a cup of Joe and a tasty snack from Puck's Cafe.
DOODLEGANZA: THE DRAWING EXTRAVAGANZA
First Tuesday of the month, 6 pm
A whimsical art party that unites artists of all skill levels. Not really an art class, not quite a party; it is a gathering for those who want to have a hands-on encounter with art. The MCA provides art supplies and participants bring ideas. There are special activities to guide participants through the evening of art making.

UBS 12 X 12: THE AFTER PARTY
Second Tuesday of the month, 6 pm
Following the UBS 12 x 12 Artist's Talk that takes place in the gallery at 6 pm, the gathering continues in Puck's Cafe where the artist(s) select music and images from their personal collections to create the backdrop for this unique artist encounter.

CABINET OF CURIOSITIES
Third Tuesday of the month, 6 pm
A grab bag of "un-lectures" about a myriad of topics that create a variety show-like evening of artist presentations curated by different groups from around Chicago.

MAGICAL MUSICAL SHOWCASE
Fourth Tuesday of the month, 6 pm
Some of Chicago's most renowned music clubs and organizations present their favorite local singer-songwriters. This hour-long set provides an opportunity for emerging musical artists to present their original work.
Apr 27: UnTwelve - collaboration with New York's Vox Novus who produce 60 works by 60 composers in 60 minutes
