7:30 pm - Performance of The Shipment
One of the boldest voices in American contemporary theater, playwright/director Young Jean Lee has challenged herself to create a 'black identity-politics show,' addressing social norms that she herself finds uncomfortable. Created and performed with a stellar cast, The Shipment is provocative and eclectic, combining music, dance, stand-up comedy, and naturalistic drama.

Tickets are $100 and benefit performance programs at the MCA.
