First Night
Thursday, Friday, and Sunday
February 5, 6, and 8, 7:30 pm
MCA Members $17, Tickets $22
What do you do when your evening's entertainment goes terribly wrong-when each act ends with insult or injury? This night of failed card tricks and ventriloquists, grand gestures, bumbling dance numbers, and far too many sequins is "accessible and viciously funny" (Guardian). There will be a First Night post-show talk on February 5.
And on the Thousandth Night…
Saturday, February 7, 9 pm
MCA Members $14, Tickets $18
This indelible experience takes you deep into the night with tall tales - six hours of princesses led astray, crazy neighbors and ghosts, love stories that never end, and tales cobbled together from legends anecdotes, and lies. "Seldom [do] performers on the stage give off such a sense of spirit with such lightness and evident pleasure" (Gazette). It's theater for cheerful insomniacs.
